How to use finger pulse oximeter or finger clamp sensor?
1) Squeeze the rear labels of the SPO2 sensor together and open the
clamping device of the sensor.
2) Place your index finger on the SPO2 sensor window and press your
fingertips against the bezel.
Note: If you are unable to locate your finger correctly or if your
index finger cannot be used, you can use a smaller finger. In some
cases, if your nails are longer, the tip of the nail can extend
onto the finger guard.
3) Turn on the patient monitor or pulse oximeter, wait for it to
measure and record the reading.
